Electronic Arts will be releasing the Madden NFL 22 ratings this year after a couple of years. The ratings will receive their own presentation by ESPN during a period that begins next week, July 25, and Madden nfl 22 coins concludes July 30th, but Electronic Arts is still waiting. The highest-rated players, the ones who have earned 99 ratings and above, will be announced on ESPN's show Get Up each morning. Additional ESPN programming will highlight the rest of the players during the week.

Tyrann Mathieu, Budda Baker, and Top Safeties in Madden NFL 22 Player Ratings

Mathieu received a score of 95 as a first-team All Pro for the second time in succession. He was credited with six interceptions, one touchdown, along with the recovery of a fumble.

The 29-year old was a major reason why the Chiefs finished in the top 10 of scoring defense for a second consecutive year.

He's also just a few points behind Arizona Cardinals star Budda Baker (93 rating) and was named All-Pro for the first time after collecting 118 tackles in 2020.

New England Patriots veteran Devin McCourty has also received plenty of praise at an age of 93, but he has not received much recognition elsewhere. The 33-year old has only played in one Pro Bowl in his past 10 years with the team.

Jamal Adams, Seattle Seahawks safety, is No. 6 with a score of 90 despite racking up 9.5 tackles in 12 games last year. Minkah Fitzpatrick was also rated just 89 following a strong year as the Pittsburgh Steelers secondary's anchor.

This is a significant departure from the recent poll by coaches, players and other league officials that put Fitzpatrick No. top safety in NFL according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

"Most 100% safety on the field," a top-ranking NFL official stated. "Elite skills, athleticism processor, field vision, versatility in position, performance in deep parts of the field, and can cover man-to-man. Can do it all."

Justin Simmons, Denver Broncos safety, finished second in the poll, however, he was just fifth in Madden ratings (91).

It's the responsibility of these players to continue proving it on the field if they wish to improve their video games they play in the near future.
