In the process of using the Stenter, soft processing can further improve the quality of the cloth and make it meet the requirements of customers. In addition, it can also make it difficult to scratch on the cloth guide wheel. In addition, the use of tenter equipment also helps to keep the fabric cloth flat and dimensionally stable, and can also eliminate wrinkles and creases formed during the dyeing and finishing process.

It should be noted that if you want to achieve such an ideal effect, then in the process of operating the tenter equipment, you need to reasonably formulate suitable shaping process conditions. First, the setting temperature is generally determined with reference to the elastic shrinkage and thickness of the fabric. If the set temperature is too high, it will cause a decrease in strength and elasticity, and the fabric may change color. Conversely, if the temperature is too low, it will cause the fabric to curl, the width is unstable, and the shrinkage rate is large.

The second is to reasonably control the speed of the tenter equipment. Under normal circumstances, its operating speed mainly depends on the length of the setting area and the setting temperature. If the vehicle speed is too fast, it will affect the effect of setting, and may also cause fine wrinkles not to be treated in the dyeing and finishing process. Conversely, if the vehicle speed is slow and the temperature is high, it may cause the fabric to yellow and reduce its elasticity.

In addition to the above two conditions, another process parameter that needs to be reasonably controlled is the overfeed of the tenter equipment. Generally, after determining the fabric width, it is necessary to set the appropriate overfeed and tension.

It should be noted that during the operation of the tenter equipment, the selection of this parameter will affect the basis weight, elasticity and wrinkles of the fabric. For example, if the fabric tension is small, the overfeed is large, and the cloth surface is uneven, it is difficult to eliminate the fine wrinkles produced by the fabric during the dyeing process. Conversely, high tension and small overfeed will cause curling during heat setting.
