PVC material is made of polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material, adding appropriate amount of anti-aging agents, modifiers, etc., through mixing, calendering, vacuum molding and other processes. PVC is an amorphous polymer with a crystallinity of 5%-10 % Microcrystals (melting point 175 degrees).

 The physical properties of PVC, such as molecular weight, crystallinity, and softening point, vary with polymerization conditions (temperature). PVC resin is used as the base material, mixed with stabilizers, plasticizers, fillers, colorants and modifiers, etc., to be plasticized and molded into PVC resin plastics. PVC material has the characteristics of light weight, heat insulation, heat preservation, moisture-proof, flame-retardant and easy construction. There are many specifications, colors, patterns and rich decorations, which are widely used in production and life. For example, PVC water pipes, PVC plastic doors and windows, and plastic toys containing PVC, wires and cables. Due to its harm to the human body, countries such as Europe, Japan and South Korea have imposed restrictions on products using PVC as raw materials.

The outstanding advantages of general PVC resin plastic products are flame retardancy, wear resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and low gas and water vapor leakage. In addition, comprehensive mechanical energy, product transparency, electrical insulation, heat insulation, noise reduction, and shock absorption are also good general-purpose materials with the most superior price ratio. The disadvantage is poor thermal stability and impact resistance, and it is easy to be brittle when using hard or soft PVC. Generally, PVC contains bis(2-ethylhexyl) adipate (DEHA) plasticizer, which is not allowed by the relevant national standards.

 DEHA is easily released at high temperature (over 100 degrees Celsius), and it is harmful to health after contacting the human body. Because PVC is a kind of hard plastic, in order to make it soft, a large amount of plasticizer must be added, and the plasticizer is easily released in a heated environment.

If DEHA is used, it can interfere with human body secretion, causing breast cancer in women, birth defects in newborns, reduction in male sperm count, and even mental illness.
