That sounds more like a Jagex thing that only a very low staff thing. It's not like if the whole firm was working on OSRS gold that they never had any issues with moderation or any community problems. They've been developing a ton and seeking to tackle a bunch of problems.
But with how many issues players may point to, even if the whole company worked solely on OSRS there is still a limit to how fast the difficulties can be resolved. Just like they said how they had been planning to tackle the Duel Arena in early 2021 before the neighborhood outcry and the neighborhood has already moved onto that subject to find different problems that require attention.
Pretty much, it is a lot easier and quicker to discover defects than to fix them, but they have been making a real work. Like creating a C++ customer for steam is a fairly big deal for how little the Cheap Rs gold community appears to have reacted. It is not an immediate resolution like suddenly having runelite as the official client on all platforms, but it is a step towards a great deal of things we have been requesting for years.
I worry that osrs getting the principal cash cow incentivises jagex to push more money catching practices in the sport.
