Regardless of the fluffy nature of this game, this community can be unbelievably rabid when something that Animal Crossing New Horizons Bells they do not like gets published. I report these things as I view them, but I see the toxic posters continue to post here and wonder whether it even does some good. Like I reported somebody who was all over a thread telling people to eff off and stuff a couple weeks ago and they were posting the next day just like nothing had happened. You can't ever make those kinds of people/situations go away, but you may try to lower the chance of them happening by structuring rules and things around them more clearly.

Another solution is a broader flair approach, but people browsing reddit via specific means do not even see flair unless they expressly allow it so you'd need to accept that was flawed in the get-go.

Ultimately I do not think any specific subjects or posts within this sub need to be banned. I believe they need to be ordered in a way that users who don't want to see them may choose to filter them out or dismiss them.

I feel like blending codes and questions would be a small bit of a mess, personally. Should you see codes in the questions thread they may be reported and we could clean them up once we see it. Additionally, as for news events, we do sticky Update Megathreads whenever they come around. Could there possibly be like pre-update stickies/update statements? I think so. But honestly, I would personally like to free a sticky slot eventually.

As for how I would like the subreddit moderated: I wish to keep it relatively light-hearted. I wouldn't mind less or more rules. I just don't need it to be too strict, I do not think strict rules apply nicely to a typical Animal Crossing subreddit.

I report those things as I see them, but then I see the toxic posters continue to post here and wonder whether it even does any good. I'm going to be entirely honest here though, I know your second stage. And I will admit for awhile, there hasn't been a good deal of active moderation , just being 1-2 active mods at some points. RecentlyI sat down for a while and caught up with all the Animal Crossing Items For Sale monstrously deep stride. That is the reason I'd like to have some new moderators, so the active ones do not get burnt out and things fall behind again. So please, keep reporting.
