It should be mentioned that characters are shared between them as well - you'll have the ability to use them in both PSO2 and NG. How are personalities shared, exactly? If"character development will not carry over", that sounds like you may have a character with the same title in Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta both games, but I would not predict that shared. That is exactly what they said. I'm presuming you get to maintain your character's name, appearance, weapons, units, and mag. They haven't mentioned anything about cosmetics yet that has some people concerned.
My friends & I have been creating"enroll that information" jokes everywhere one of us has a decorative we wanted. So I'm 98% certain this is what they mean when they state enrolled information, which would mean those people attempting to hoard cosmetic tickets in the hopes of selling them NGS won't work as merely registered items will move over.
So which means outerwear and outfits won't move? That is still a massive fuck you to NA players that spent money and nobody should scratch anymore to be honest... We do know we could bring over firearms and components, so that they can handle outfits/outerwear exactly the exact same manner. We do see old Ash running around with his old outfit at the trailer. The footage they showed of this Placeholder Otherwise Known As Ash has him sporting his trademark default Close Quarters outfit. It is still no difficult confirmation, but that'd mean he took it with him to NGS. FWIW that outfit is also available as basewear in JP therefore it's even more uncertain... but yeah I would wager a good 10k meseta on outfits and outerwear additionally transferring. This is what I was thinking also and makes the most sense. This way the game has the main core aspects players expect but is fresh and new at the exact same time. I believe it's still going to be instanced and not open world. Gameplay shown up to now has revealed 8 player instance maxes. This wouldn't break current AI systems, thinking about the current AI just follow your path or teleport to you when they have stuck. The world is open and huge, but everything out of cities was instanced. I'm thinking it is going to be a similar approach to what Dragon's Dogma Online had. The world is open and huge, but everything out of towns was instanced. They watered down the climbing to a formulation and changed a bunch of classes but now that it has gone I constantly wish to play with it.
I would absolutely love Dragon's Dogma Online-styled encounters in Phantasy Star if because it gives us a reason to buy meseta pso2 explore the planet (or at least rapid journey to it to jump in and outside ) and to have a struggle with all the bosses and enemies.
